Client Policies And Procedures

Arrival Time

  1. Clients and guests are asked to be present no less than 30 minutes before a live program and 20 minutes before a taped program.

  2. If for any reason the client or guest has not arrived or called before the scheduled start time the client will continue without a guest or a rerun will be scheduled.

Air Date

  1. Reruns should be called into the studio at 214.276.0321 no later than 48 hours before the programs air date to ensure the desired program can be located and queued in time.

  2. If you fail to schedule a record date for your program, a program from your recorded archive will be aired.

  3. If you fail to give us a distribution list, a program from your recorded archive will be aired.

In The Studio

  1. Any media (graphics, lower thirds, opens, closes, spots, music) that is required for the program must be of broadcast quality and be given to the director with no less than 48 hours before the program is produced. Music must be in CD or digital format ( .mp3, etc. ) and able to be emailed or copied to a flash drive. iPhones, iPods, computers, and other mp3 players will not be accepted.

  2. Any set design changes must be called in and approved by the end of the business day before your show is produced. Call us at 469-965-2247 or email us at: [email protected]

Outside Production

  1. All programs submitted for broadcast must be in the form of Beta, DVD, or digital delivery ( .mpg, .mov, .mp4, .avi accepted).

  2. All programs must be the exact length of the broadcast time you were given ( 28:30 or 58:30 ). Call us at 214.276.0321 or email us at: [email protected] with any questions.

These new policies and procedures are for the benefit of yourself and your programming. We at The UAN want to ensure you have the best production and broadcast experience and have the best product we can offer.

Your License to Universal Affiliates Network

You hereby grant to The UAN an irrevocable license to reproduce, distribute, display, publish, use and prepare derivatives of all video, audio, comments, suggestions, ideas or other information that you communicate to the UAN (“Generated Content”). The UAN and its designees will be free to copy, publish, disclose, distribute, incorporate and otherwise use your Generated Content for any and all commercial or noncommercial purposes, without any obligation to compensate you or others for the Generated Content. You understand that such Generated Content may be used on the Internet and that The UAN has no responsibility for or control over any use or further dissemination thereof.

For all Generated Content that you supply, (video, audio, still images, etc.) you represent and warrant that: (i) you have all rights necessary to distribute and publish such Generated Content; (ii) that if your employer has rights to intellectual property you create, that you have either (a) received permission from your employer to post or make available the content, or (b) secured from your employer a waiver as to all rights in or to the content; (iii) you have fully complied with any third-party licenses relating to the content; (iv) that it does not contain or install any viruses, worms, Trojan horses or any other harmful or destructive code; and (v) that it is not libelous or defamatory, does not contain threats or incite violence towards individuals or entities, and does not violate the privacy or publicity rights of any third party. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless The UAN from any liability that it may incur as a result of Generated Content you supply.
